Earth DIY Sensory Bin

Dry Erase Earth

Earth Syllables

  • I very unfortunately cannot figure out where this cute Earth Syllables page is from. If it is yours, PLEASE leave a comment so I can give you proper credit. So sorry for losing track!

Magnified Earth

  • I have no idea where this kind of paper mache Earth came from. It is very accurate though!
  • The writing on it is naturally small, though, so it was a good opportunity to make a tray with it and the big magnifying glass from the Learning Resources Primary Science Lab Set!

Earth Paper Puzzle

Gems & Play Dough

  • This is one of my favorite ways to put out play dough for him. And it’s so simple too!
  • The dough is a recently homemade batch that is a turquoise type color. Then I just put a container of clear, blue and green gems with it!

Which is Different?

  • This page is from the FREE Earth Day Pack from Totschooling.net!
  • This is a bit too easy for him these days, which he pointed out to me, but was too cute not to use!

Free Writing Practice

  • I have had these “Earth Day” inspired notepad for years! Putting it out this week with just a pencil. He loves writing lines on paper so I thought he might like this notepad too!

B+W & Color Match

  • Here is another activity from Totschooling’s Earth Day pack!
  • Last year I printed these pages 2-up in both black and white and color. Trying to figure out what to do with them this year, I thought matching the color to black and white might be neat!
  • I decided to trim the color graphics out and just provide a glue stick so E could match the colored ones on the black and white page.

And wow are there a lot more free Earth Day printables out there! These are ALL available for FREE on Teachers Pay Teachers:

I think it was a good week to take it easy! I’d love to do a more outer space-centered Earth theme someday, but for now this was perfect. He probably drew on that dry erase Earth 10 times, with the final one making an Earth robot. 🙂

Proudly shared with Mommy Solutions and the Preschool and Kindergarten Community Linkup!
