Lauri Toys Tangrams Plus
This is probably the set I have referred to the most! It’s a cute set of cards and pieces featuring Lauri’s crepe rubber (see more below). We bought this set when he was way too young but he has always liked it.

Lauri Toddler Tote
There are many different sets by Lauri Toys but a good place to start is with the Toddler Tote. We ended up buying the transportation set as well. The pegs are unlike any other; they stack easily and make good pretend “ice cream cones”. All Lauri’s products are easy to clean and they’ll even help with replacements!

Bunny Peek-a-Boo
This is such a cute little set by SmartGames. (check them out for so many more adorable little puzzles!) It fits the formula of all of their games; a set of challenge cards and parts to replicate the image on the cards. They are all so sturdy, colorful, and thoughtful.

Eeboo Life on Earth Matching Game
This game was actually a hand-me-down, but I may have bought it anyway! It is a very cute memory game. Just like other eeBoo products, they are illustrated by a real artist. Images vary from animals to wildlife. The quality is outstanding. This has also become one of my favorite gifts for other kids!

50 Counting Bears with 5 Cups
There are so many options for counting! This set is a great, inexpensive place to start. Plus, the cups are great too!

Original UNO Card Game
Everyone loves UNO! It’s a convenient way to talk about colors and numbers. Use it for matching, putting numbers in order, orgnaizing by color, and more! (Keep in mind that a regular deck of cards can be a great homeschool item, too!)

Learning Resources Nuts And Bolts
We picked up this set when E was very young! While fun to keep hands busy, it also helps teach shapes and colors. And if you read the reviews, you’ll see people use these for bird toys, too!

AquaDoodle – Draw N Doodle – Classic Mat
We love the Aquadoodle! It is a great “no-mess” product that is truly “no-mess”! Definitely add the Aquadoodle Brush, pen, and stencils with bonus spill-proof cup – it makes it a lot more fun!

Alphabet Go Fish Matching Card Game
Another cute, wonderfully illustrated game! It’s a nice price for larger-than-you’d-expect laminated cards, and a great start for homeschool activities.

Melissa & Doug Sushi Slicing Playset
What do you do when the toddler wants to cut vegetables and cook like Dad? Well check out the sets from Melissa and Doug! My favorite is this sushi set, complete with a knife! We like this Melissa & Doug Cutting Bread Set as well.
