While on vacation it truly hit me – we have a budding preschooler on our hands. His perception and understanding of the world shows he is ready to move from tot school into Preschool!
This post comes nearly a year to the date I started this blog. Other than switching places with my husband and working full-time now, nothing much has changed! 🙂 I still enjoy using Pinterest to efficiently find great new activities whether they are free worksheets, inspired by Montessori, or anything! I also still like putting sensory and “fun” items out on the trays.
So, after thinking about it, we are going to maintain the ‘tot tray’ style for now, at least. A helpful tip I saw from 1+1+1=1 is to have the preschooler do the trays in a certain order – I like this idea! I still find the trays quite practical for our life, from ease of setup to the effectiveness of how they are displayed.
While some of our trays have already been transitioning into the ‘more difficult’, from here on I am going to start calling these “Pre-K Trays”. We’ll see how often I say “Tot” instead!
Hope you enjoy these easy tray ideas no matter the age of your child. Thanks for coming by! I look forward to writing another post like this next year!
