Tot School will always hold a special place in my heart — the inspiration that we needed to show we COULD teach our little one at home as we always desired! So before I go further I want to thank Carisa from 1+1+1=1 and her son for inventing tot school!
We are almost a year into preschool, but naturally, the most popular posts and pins from here are tot school posts. To end the year on a good note and get ready to start anew in 2016, I wanted to share my top 10 tot school themes & activities of 2015!
DIY Recipe Cards for Play Food! This is just an idea, but it is my most popular pin and post! It is so easy to find clipart to make your own cards based on the play foods you have. This was a part of our Healthy Foods tot school theme!
Tools Tot Trays! E was nearly 3 when we had this tool-themed week of school. There were so many toys and other tangible objects to use as well.
St. Patrick’s Day Tot Trays!A month later it is another great holiday theme – St. Patrick’s Day! The “DIY” sensory bin here is still one of my favorite activities that we have done. (Also see St. Patrick’s Day Preschool Trays)
Weather Tot Trays! I actually used the Silhouette Cameo TWICE in this theme — a tissue paper cloud craft and sun paper piecing activity! This reminds me that we need to explore weather again in preschool!
Sports Tot Trays! This theme single-handedly reminds me how much E has grown up since starting homeschool! This theme was so fun and we have several individual sports themes coming up early 2016!
FREE Ice Hockey Tot Pack! Here is something for your sports theme! After not finding what I was looking for already made, I decided to try to make my own. Please go download my free hockey tot pack and I’d love for you to let me know how it works out for you! (Also see it in action in our own Hockey Tot Trays)
Thank you so much for checking our our most popular tot themes, and our family wishes yours the best this holiday season and every season!
I’m proud to be linking this post up to 1+1+1=1’s Tot School Gathering Place with activities that E enjoyed at 2 and 3 years old!
